Two facing drug charges in Waushara Co.

PLAINFIELD - Two people are facing charges after police searched a home in Plainfield and after getting multiple tips about drugs being sold out of the home.

The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force began an investigation in August after getting tips from the public about people using and buying drugs at a home in the 100 block of East North St. in Plainfield, according to a news release.

Police got a warrant to search the home after making undercover purchases of heroin and methamphetamine, the news release says. Two people, Thomas Sagami and Jaclyn Zanto, were arrested as a result of the search.

Sagami and Zanto are both expected to face multiple drug charges as a result of the investigation, the release says.
