Dad's Computers wins third straight Trivia contest

STEVENS POINT – Dad's Computers dominance over the world's largest trivia contest continued this past weekend during Trivia 46: Guardians of the Contest.

The Plover-based team claimed the championship with a score of 23,010 points following 54 straight hours of competition, beginning at 6 p.m. last Friday and running through midnight on Sunday. Over 350 teams competed in this year's contest.

Dad's Computers won Trivia 45 with 21,655 points, and Trivia 44 with 10,685 points. The team also finished in second place in Trivia 43, Trivia 42, and Trivia 40.

The rest of the top 10 team, which each received trophies, included Festivus for the Rest of Us (22,285 points), Netoorg (18,595 points), Trivial Fursuit: Awful Mix Vol. 5 (18,385 points), Collective Foole (18,260 points), Lactation Nation Suck Long & Prosper (18,110 points), Tin Man (18,030 points), We R Yaargh! Live Long & Nanu Nau! (18,025 points), Ugly Undulating Uvulas - We are Gruut (17,795 points), and Franklin Street Burnouts (17,525 points).
